Also, a friendly reminder regarding trash and recycling:
- Kindly make sure that all BOXES ARE BROKEN DOWN before placing them in the two recycling bins/dumpsters. When boxes are left intact, the dumpster fills up, leading to additional costs for the HOA. Let's work together to support our dedicated trash volunteers, who should not have to brave the cold and break down your boxes.
- We have received feedback indicating that some individuals find the dumpster lids hard to open and not easily accessible. To address this concern, we will make an effort to keep one dumpster lid open while ensuring that all lids are securely closed before inclement weather.
- Do not leave any bulk items inside or around the trash house area (example: vacuum cleaners, furniture, microwaves, misc. items). Surveillance cameras are in operation, and violators will be contacted.
- Visit the Town of Putnam website for information on disposing of bulk items. The next Bulky Waste Day is Saturday, March 1, 2025. Mark your calendars :)
